In 1992, following the sale of London & Edinburgh Trust Plc (“LET”), Peter Beckwith set up PMB Holdings (“PMBH”). The company’s role is to manage the assets of the subsidiary companies owned by Peter Beckwith and his family trusts in the UK and Continental Europe. The business has three principal areas of operation:
Commercial property investment in the UK: PMBH sold the bulk of its portfolio in 2006/2007 and has now started to reinvest in the UK market.
European fitness and leisure: Aspria Continental European Spas and Family Sporting Clubs: following the successful sale of Riverside plc in 1997 and the Harbour Club, Chelsea in 1998, Peter Beckwith has been developing a chain of exclusive Spas and Family Sporting Clubs in Continental Europe. Six clubs are operational in Brussels, Hamburg, Berlin and Hannover. In addition, Peter Beckwith owns a 50% share in Harbour Club, Milan.
Theatres: Ambassador Theatre Group (“ATG”): Peter Beckwith is a major shareholder in ATG, one of the largest theatre groups in the industry.
